Pampoen koekies

These little guys are so delicious and versatile, they can be served as a dessert, appetizer, side dish, or snack. They’re made with pumpkin and deep fried until crispy.

Sprinkle with lemon juice and cinnamon mixed with caster sugar or have them with a caramel sauce. They can be seasoned with salt and spices instead of sugar for a delicious side dish.

Six delicious fritters per portion.
