Jan Ellis Pudding - Large

Jan Ellis was a well-known Springbok rugby player in the 1960s and 70s, and legend has it that this was his favourite pudding, so it bears his name.  This dessert is a close cousin to the traditional Malva pudding.

The pudding is a cake baked to a crispy crust with a generous helping of creamy, caramelly syrup soaked through. Real butter and rich cream makes for a delicious and comforting pudding.

Serve with ice cream, custard or cream.
